The Felt safety Framework
Safety. Connection. Belonging. Growth.
The Felt Safety Framework™ is the foundation of our approach to therapy.
It is built on a simple belief: meaningful growth happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to connect, communicate, learn, and engage.
Instead of asking, “How do we change this behavior?” we ask:
“What is this nervous system communicating, and what does it need to feel safe?”
The framework brings together pediatric speech-language pathology, Polyvagal Theory, somatic approaches, neurodiversity-affirming care, and lived experience as both a clinician and parent.
™
Every nervous system is different. That means therapy shouldn't look the same for everyone.
Our work is guided by three clinical pillars:
-
We honor each person for who they are—without judgment, pressure, or expectations to mask.
-
Regulation begins through connection. We use attuned relationships to help build greater flexibility, connection, and resilience.
-
We look beyond behavior to understand what the nervous system may be experiencing and communicating.
